Here's answering some of the common questions you have in mind.
Q: I'm interest to order, how long in advance do I need to place my order?
A: For designer cake, we will usually take in orders with a minimun of 2 weeks in advance (depending on availability of our schedule). If it is an customised from our previous creation, we will need at least 7 days and above.
Q: What are the flavours available?
A: Classic Vanilla, Belgium dark chocolate (children friendly), Belgium Milk Chocolate, Farm Fresh Strawberry, Lemon Yuzu tea, Fresh Mango, Lemon Earl Grey Tea, Vanilla Coffee and more...
Q: What are the sizes available?
A: We go by sizes, not weight.
We understand, each celebration is unique, hence let us know if u need other sizes
Q: Does our cakes contains raw eggs
A: As we are wary of the risk of salmonella contamination, we uses ONLY pasteurised eggs in all our bakes. On top of that, we ensure all eggs used in our cakes have been cooked thoroughly. Hence our cakes are safe not just for the adults, but also for consumption to the older folks, pregnant woman and toddler.
Q: Are your cakes sweet?
A: Our cakes are generally lower in sugar, 30-50% lower than regular cakes, so you and your family (especially kids) can enjoy them guilt-free when in moderation. A standard cake slice of sized 3-inch-tall x 1-inch-wide x 2-inch length can contain as little as 5-10g of sugar.
Q: Will my cake looks exactly like what I have ordered?
A: Images are meant to be guidelines for cake crafting. We will not able to guarantee an exact replication of our previous creation or the reference photo provided for practical purposes (Eg. colors on photos may look more vibrant due to color editing and lighting). We would also love to take this chance to craft a unique picture-perfect cake for you, and not replicate another baker’s work, or even our own previous work.
Q: What if I can't find a reference cake on your site?
A: You can always share an image or simply an idea of that picture-perfect cake and we will provide a sketch for that. The final cake will follow the sketch or reference photo as a guideline and will not be 100% the same.
Q: I will like to order a smash cake for my toddler, is that possible?
A: Our smash cakes comes in very standard designs, nothing extravagance as most decorations are high in sugar and is definitely not recommended.
Q: What happens if I need to cancel my order(s)?
A: We take in cancellation if it is given in written form (text message of email) if it is given a week in advance.
For orders that are due 4 days to a week, there will be a 50% cancellation charge.
If the due is less than 3 days, a 100% cancellation charge will be incurred.
We understand that every situation is different, hence we will do our best to help.
Q: Is Cat Loves Baking Halal?
A: We use Halal certified ingredients, no pork or lard. Hence, we are halal friendly.
Q: Can we pick the cakes ourselves?
A: We want to ensure all cakes received are the same as the picture taken upon completion, Hence, we have our fleet of chill truck to ensure our cakes are delivered safely to you.
